Chiropractic

Our doctors are proficient in many chiropractic techniques. Whether you are looking for a traditional manual adjustment, flexion-distraction (traction) for your sciatica, or gentle instrument adjusting, we have you covered. We have the training and equipment to offer techniques to fit any patient’s needs or preferences.

We offer many different chiropractic services and techniques but stick to one main philosophy:

GET OUR PATIENTS FEELING BETTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

We strive for the best outcomes in the shortest timeline achievable. We will treat you on the first visit (if it's safe). There will be no sales pitch or drawn out timetable of how many weeks or months you should return. We do what we can to provide relief in the office and send you home with directions on how to maintain or progress on your own time. We want you to feel better and return to normal living as quickly as possible. We take pride in it.

Techniques Offered

Manual
(Diversified, Gonstead)

Diversified and Gonstead techniques are probably those most commonly associated with chiropractic. These are aimed at moving restricted joints in a rapid manner in a deliberate direction, often producing a "cavitation" or popping sound.

Instrument
(Activator, Impulse)

Instrument-assisted manipulation uses a small spring-loaded device to push the restricted joints in specific directions. It is the most gentle technique, delivering very little force to the joints. These techniques are safe for children and those with bone density issues.

Traction
(Cox Flexion-distraction)

Cox Flexion-Distraction technique uses a specialized table to maneuver spinal joints gently through their ranges of motion while decompressing the vertebrae. We have two of these table in our clinic and both of our doctors are proficient in the technique. We primarily use this technique/table to treat disc injuries (bulges, herniations).

Drop Table
(Thompson technique)

All of our treatment rooms are equipped with drop tables. Thompson Technique involves using these specialized tables to specifically move individual joints by dropping segments of the table relative to other segments. This facilitates normal joint range-of-motion while applying less force than some manual techniques.
